One of the scariest moments of this weekend's Arnold Palmer Invitational was when the host himself was taken to the hospital for high blood pressure which was believed to be part of a new medication regimen Palmer has been taking.  Here's a report from the Huffington Post that goes into further detail.  Of course we all hope The King is resting comfortably and is back on television soon, but it begs the question...where have all of golf's personalities gone?  You still have Palmer, Trevino, Player but one of the things that in my opinion golf needs is some larger than life personalities.  Tiger Woods had and may have again a larger than life game, but personality wise he reminds you of the quintessential corporate suit.

What I'm talking about is the type of personalities that engage crowds, make us laugh or face palm but something that brings some attention to the game.  We had John Daly, but he's like a radio station that comes in and out in the middle of nowhere, he's there and then he's gone.  Much like our nation values and treasures people and events, hopefully golfers and fans of the game treasure people like Arnold Palmer and others who brought something more than a great golf game to the sport.  In the mean time, here's some personalities for you:
